I’m so sorry that you’re having to be in the midst of that, but that’s insane about the mail! If only we could get everything else working with that efficiency…though maybe the post office needs some help with its books. 🙂
I haven’t read those other two posts that you linked to, but I don’t think I need to, to understand how amazing that is. I can’t believe you’re still getting your mail every day. I just have to wonder… How are they keeping their gas tanks full?
That really is extraordinary! I am thinking of all of you NJ residents and I’m hoping that things get squared away ASAP. It must be rough! I can’t even imagine.
That is really unbelievable. There is a lot of talk about power outages here in White Plains, where whole neighborhoods still don’t have power. I wonder if they are getting their mail. Thinking about you guys. Hoping power comes back soon!
That made me chuckle…kudos to the post office to getting you your bills and political mail. Seriously, it is rather unbelievable. Take care there. Thanks for coming by.

The storm has been devastating. My family on Long Island faired pretty well. My mother’s house was the only one in her vicinity that didn’t flood, and only one of six siblings is still without power. He has a generator, but only enough gas for one more day.
It’s funny, we’ve been getting mail too, though mostly stuff that matters not at all (ads, one bill). I saw the FedEx truck driving around on Monday in the wind gusts, and we got a UPS package this week too.
That is amazing! I was telling my husband today that I appreciate reading about news from NJ from bloggers like you rather than just seeing a news story. We’re praying for you, and our church collected an offering for Hurricane Sandy relief today. I hope it gets better soon! I’ll check back tomorrow. 🙂
My best friend, her husband and 6 month old baby live in Princeton and this is prompting me to send them a parcel! They finally got power back (which is a bit miraculous…they were told to expect nothing for another week!). I hope yours comes back soon too!
It’s hard to imagine what you’re up against. I love it when we have a storm and the lights go out. candles! flashlights! fun! But the power usually comes back on in a few hours. Not so for you folks.
Wow. I’m very impressed! And I’m guessing your postman will get nice treat this Christmas!
I guess the US Postal Service takes that promise seriously! I hope things get back to something resembling normal soon.
Wow. That deserves a retweet. I think I shall. Hope you are okay and things get better soon. Hug.

wow, that is pretty amazing indeed, stacie! let’s hope the other services are back to normal functioning asap. hugs!
Amazing indeed. I’m glad one small piece of your world is functioning beautifully, and I hope other services start to normalize soon!!

That is fabulous especially given all that is going on now.

Amazing! Who ever would have thought the US Mail still kept that promise? I love that you’re giving the USPS a little shout out love!
